ACO approved cornhole bag speed chart 262
Every bag in our database with a published speed, slowest first. Speeds read slow side / fast side on a 1–10 scale, so a 4/7 bag has a slow side rated 4 and a fast side rated 7.
Speeds are each manufacturer's own ratings. Bags without a published speed aren't listed; browse every bag.
How to read cornhole bag speeds
Most competition bags are dual-sided: a grippy slow side and a slick fast side. Makers rate each side from 1 (stops almost where it lands) to 10 (slides the furthest), and print them as slow/fast, like 3/7 or 5/9.
- Slow side, 1–4: for airmail shots, blocking, and fast or slick boards.
- Fast side, 7–10: for sliding into the hole and pushing blockers, best on slow or sticky boards.
- Middle numbers, 5–6: more forgiving and the usual starting point for newer players.
Why speeds don't compare perfectly across brands
There's no official speed test, so each brand rates its own bags. A 7 from one maker can play like a 6 or an 8 from another, and fabrics speed up as bags break in. Use the chart to narrow your list, then compare within a brand, read player reviews, or try bags before you buy.
